Sreenivas Chintalapani

Dr. Chintalapani is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and has been practicing for over 25 years in the Quad City area. Dr. Chintalapani is a graduate of Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology from Wayne State University School of Medicine and the Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. Over the course of his career, he has co-authored several published articles for different medical publications and actively participated in clinical research in their practice.

Dr. Chintalapani focuses his practice on colon cancer prevention with high polyp/Adenoma detection that is well above the national minimum standards. He also focuses on advanced polypectomy techniques to avoid surgery, as well as esophageal and gastric disorders like acid reflux, swallowing disorders, Barretts esophagus, esophageal cancer prevention and management of IBD (inflammatory bowel disease), pancreatic and liver diseases. The management of these disorders include ERCP and are handled in the most conscientious manner and in compliance with National Gastroenterology Society guidelines. He is on the medical staff at Mississippi Valley Endoscopy Center, Regional SurgiCenter, Quad City Endoscopy, Unity Point Health System in RI and Bettendorf and Genesis Illini.

In his free time, Dr. Chintalapani enjoys photography, volunteering and spending time with his family.
